Mission and Values

Our Vision, Mission and Values

The Vision

The vision of the Bible Apostolic Church is to worship God and give him glory in everything we do or say. (Ex. 20:3-5, Isa 43:7; Ps. 95:6, Ps.96:1-10, Mt. 22:37-40, 1Cor. 10:31, Rev 4:11)

 Mission Statement

The mission of the Bible Apostolic Church is to worship God and make disciples through a relationship with Jesus, where each one teach one to reach one for the kingdom.

The vision of Bible Apostolic Church incorporates 5 core values relating to the 5 purposes of the church:

WORSHIP: is the ultimate purpose of the church because we were created for the glory of God. To worship is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, body and strength. (Ex.20:3-5, Isa 43:7; Ps. 95:6, Ps.96:1-10, Mt. 22:37-40, Act 2:42-47, 1Cor. 10:31,Eph. 1:6, Rev. 4:11).

EVANGELISM: The church is in the soul winning business and her product is the making of disciples for Jesus. Therefore, like Jesus, we will use any and every means possible to seek out those who are lost sinners and bring and win them to Jesus so that God will be glorified. Each member is expected to actively, intentionally engage in sharing the gospel with others on a consistent basis. We hold ourselves and each other accountable to obeying the great commission from our King Jesus. We are called to be fishers of men and to be ambassadors for Jesus Christ. As ambassadors we have the responsibility and the privilege of working in the ministry of reconciliation and sharing the word of reconciliation with everybody we meet. (Mt. 4:19, 28:19-20, 2 Cor. 5:18-20, Lk.15:1-32, Lk. 19:10, Jn. 3:16, Jn. 4:4-26, Acts 1:8, 1 Cor. 9:22; Jn4:7-26).

DISCIPLESHIP: Making disciples can only be done effectively when people are taught how to develop a relationship with Jesus through preaching and teaching of the word, private bible study and devotion, applying and obeying the word, prayer, fasting, giving, witnessing and constant fellowship with other believers including attending all worship services. Discipleship happens best in a Grace Oriented environment as people are transformed from the inside out by cultivating a relationship with Jesus and not by keeping religious rules or through guilt, pressure, shaming and condemning. However, we place great emphasis in DOING and OBEYING the word of God. It is not enough to simply negatively avoid sinning. We must positively obey the words of God. This means we must be intentional about applying and doing the word. Jesus our great King commissioned us in MT 28:19 to preach the gospel and teach all nations to observe or do everything he has commanded us. (2 Cor 5:17; 3:17-18 Jn: 15:4-5, Rom 12:2, Phil 2:12-13, Mt 28:19-20).

FELLOWSHIP: The church is not a building, organization or social club one joins. We are the family of God and one must be born again having accepted Christ and be baptized in Jesus name to belong to God’s family and a local

church. (Jn3:5, 1Co.12:12-31 Acts 2:38, 42-47)

MINISTRY: Every Christian has a God-given ministry that they should discover and develop in order to serve in the body of Christ. (1 Cor. 12; Eph 2:10; Eph 4:11-16; 2 Tim 1:6; 1Pe 2:9-10; 1 Pe. 4:10-11)
